    Ingredients :

    • 170ml white rum

    • 170ml cream of coconut

    • 170ml pineapple juice

    • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks

    • 4 cups ice

    • 120ml golden or añejo rum (optional but recommended)

    • Pineapple leaves or wedges for garnish (optional)

    Serves : 4

    Cooks In : 10

    Difficulty : Easy

    Preparation Method :

    1. Place the white rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice, pineapple chunks, and ice in a blender. Process until totally blended.
    2. Pour into glasses and top with and top with the golden rum (it should float on top), if desired.
    3. Serve with pineapple leaves or slices as garnish and serve immediately.

    Tips :

To make a virgin piña colada, leave out the rums. You can add more pineapple juice and cream of coconut to make more servings. If it's too thick, add some coconut water, a splash at a time.

The traditional blended piña colada recipe doesn’t use frozen pineapple, but we find it adds a bit more flavour and reduces the amount of ice needed.
