    A quick and simple chocolatey treat, ready in just half an hour! These brownies are perfect for satisfying a sudden sweet craving. Made with pantry staples, you’ll be coming back to this recipe time and time again.


    Ingredients :


    • 400g white sugar

    • 225g all-purpose flour

    • 225g butter, melted

    • 4 large eggs

    • 50g cocoa powder

    • 5ml vanilla extract

    • 3g baking powder

    • 2.5g salt

    • 50g walnut halves

    Preparation Method :

    Gather your ingredients: Get everything ready before you start.


    Preheat your oven: Set your oven to 175°C and grease a 42x30cm baking tray.


    Mix it up: In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, melted butter, eggs, cocoa powder, vanilla, baking powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.


    Spread the batter: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.


    Top with nuts: Scatter the walnut halves over the top of the batter.


    Bake to perfection: Pop the pan into the preheated oven and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out mostly clean.


    Cool and serve: Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares. Enjoy!


    Tips :

    Storage: Store leftover brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or in the fridge for up to a week. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months.
